We would like to thank you for your interest in us.

Before you start on your journey of being a member of this group we would really appreciate if you could kindly check out and adhere to the following T&Cs.

This group has been set up by internationals to help internationals and expats alike settle into their new lives in The Netherlands. 

BY BEING A MEMBER OF THIS GROUP YOU ACCEPT TO BE INCLUDED ON OUR LIST OF INVITEES & TO RECEIVE INVITATIONS FOR EVENTS ORGANISED or SUPPORTED BY EXPATS in THE HAGUE.
(we need this statement so that Facebook will not think we are spamming you!)

You are welcome to post a question related to all things Holland, our large and engaged group of members are here and ready to answer your questions and give you recommendations. You can tell a member about your business/services etc. as an answer to a question they may have posted.

Please do not post anything commercial, this means household and second hand goods you may have for sale (there are many websites and other Facebook groups for that purpose). Advertising your business, using this group as an extension of your real estate company’s advertising page, posting special offers etc. Your posts will unfortunately be deleted, and if needed, a member will be banned for spamming/excessive advertising. We have a dedicated Facebook group for service providers, where you can advertise your business and services for free https://www.facebook.com/groups/1148823568515493/.

  • Please do not post any events WITHOUT prior approval from admin. If you have not received approval from admin your event will be deleted. We as Expats Times and Expats in The Hague reserve the the right to post our own and our associates events.
  • Please be mindful that everyone is allowed to have their own opinions on matters
  • Please respect that everyone has their own political and religious opinions

REPORTING A POST

If you think that someone is being offensive, or breaking the house rules of the forum, you can contact us and we will try to deal with these messages as quickly as possible.

We will ban people who continue to break rules. We take our house rules seriously. They are in place to protect our users and create a supportive environment. We reserve the right to delete your post if we feel it breaches these rules.

Any serious offences will result in an immediate ban and the deletion of relevant posts.
